When I went out to dinner with some of my friends they kept talking about this person named Danny DeMichele. I figured that it was a mutual friend of theirs that I just had never met. Four days later, my boss told me that he had hired the office of Danny DeMichele to do some consulting on our company’s website. I told him that I had friends who knew that guy and he just laughed.

I could not wait to call one of my friends from the other night and ask them to have this Danny DeMichele say hi to me when he came to my office the following morning. My friend just laughed and said that they did not know Danny DeMichele personally, then why would you talk about him like you did I asked them.

I guess that my friends companies had also hired this Danny DeMichele as well to consult and they were just discussing the plans that his company had laid out for their sites. I felt really silly and decided to call into work sick the next day so that I would not run into anyone from this Danny DeMichele’s office with my luck he would come himself and my boss would try and tell him that we had mutual friends.
