My brothers cleaning company was hired to clean out a building to prepare it for demolition and he asked me if I wanted to help to earn a little extra cash. I told him that I could help for just two days, because I had an interview at the end of the week down South.

The first day that we cleaned, we found at least ten used bladecenter servers in a storage room and they looked to be in really good working order. He said that the company that hired him said that if he wanted any of the stuff in the building, then he could have it or if not then he was to throw it away. I knew from having to help fix some servers at my last job that these were worth some serious cash. I asked him if he wanted me to help him sell them. I let him know that at my last job, we had purchased a used pseries server and it cost over ten thousand dollars. He said that maybe this brand was not worth as much as the used pseries though.

I made a few phone calls to computer geeks that I knew and confirmed that they should still be worth a few thousand dollars even if they were not in great working order. I asked them to put the word out that we had about ten used bladecenter servers to sell and we were looking for the best price.
